Objectives:
1.
Understand how biostatistical evaluations impact the outcome of a
study.
2. Define the difference between descriptive and inferential
statistics.
3. List the major sections of a typical study.
4. Consider three different study designs and the
appropriate statistical tests used.
5. Explain how the correct descriptive statistic can still
lead to the misunderstanding of results.
